    What you'll do

    IP network engineer aligned to the delivery and ongoing support of a major new project. The right candidate will be a hands-on engineer with extensive experience covering network support, implementation and change management.

    The role will involve the deployment of new IP based network services across routing, switching and network security technologies as well as providing fault support to the customer and internal teams.

  • Build and support of IP networks including routing, switching, network security and encryption services
  • Create equipment configurations and technical as built documentation
  • Provide 3rd line technical support to the customer and internal operations team
  • Who you are

  • Experience in the deployment of IP network solutions including routing, switching, security and encryption products
  • Solid understanding of a variety of IP protocols and standards (including MPLS, BGP and VPN)
  • Experience in configuring and utilising network management and monitoring tools
  • Demonstrable troubleshooting skills and approach to fault resolution
  • Desirable (but not essential) to have knowledge and working experience of both Cisco and Nokia networking products
