General Manager opportunity at our Esplanade Hotel in Paignton
A great opportunity has become available for a passionate General Manager to join our newest hotel to be part of Compass Hospitality Hotel Group as the General Manager of The Esplanade Hotel.
The Esplanade Hotel has 84 bedrooms a restaurant and a bar. This hotel is ideally located in the heart of this Seaside resort, in Paignton, which is a picturesque seaside favourite sitting amongst the rugged coastline of Torquay.Our General Manager will lead the business to deliver solid financial results while engaging our guests and team. Being guest-centric with experience of P&L & H&S, you will be the leader of this business. We aim to empower GMs to own their properties and drive progression, building upon the success of Compass Hospitality.
Our General Manager will have passion and commitment to quality, be willing to create a welcoming environment, and provide guests with great stories that make them want to visit again and again. We are at the heart of the community and our General Manager will be a community player who builds relationships.
This is an ideal role for an existing General Manager or strong Hotel Manager with boutique hotel experience and a passion for people and hospitality. They will oversee a team of around 30 staff across F&B outlets, Rooms reception reservations, and contractors. they will manage 3 Heads of Departments, as well as liaising with sub-contractors for maintenance, waste, laundry etc. The hotel accommodates a lot of different tour businesses, throughout the whole year.
