As Assistant Commercial Accountant, this role will support the commercial finance function within a leading and 'award winning' business.

The role will focus on helping to driving company performance, optimising the companies commercial offering whilst protectingthe business' operating margins.

Few roles nor organisations can give this much support to truly understand the commercial and operational drivers quite like this.

With a full study support programme available (if desired) and full mentoring and directionfrom a vastly experienced team and direct line manager this role give the skills and support to fast track your career.

The Assistant Commercial Accountant role carries a broad responsibility with exposure amongst many different stakeholders but ultimatelyanalysing and supporting key performance metrics whilst working with suppliers, tender management, sales and product development teams to support a 360 delivery to the customer.

Other responsibilities will include and not be limited to;

  • Providing commercial support to sales helping them understand pricing and positioning
  • Commercial modelling and supporting marketing teams for future pitch and tendering opportunities
  • Analysis of data to support operational teams
  • Analysis and reporting of irregular margin trends, data or contract/compliance breaches
  • Financial business partnering with multiple stakeholders both in business operations and finance
  • Modelling new and existing pricing structures


This fantastic role and offering of Assistant Commercial Accountant is targeting either, a likely finance or business economics graduate, or else, someone with up to 3 years' experience in finance but wants a more commercial offering with less productionof accounting and more looking at driving future commercial decision making through the use of modelling, pricing and all round general business partnering.

It may also target someone already in a commercial finance team but where they are lacking progressionand a full support program.
