    HR Generalist EMEA - English & French)

    One of the world's great telecom companies (20,000+ global employees) requires a Senior HR executive to covers its UK & European operations.

    This company serves the voice and data needs of multinational enterprises and telecommunication service providers. It has built a strong reputation as a trusted partner to Service Providers around the world – from Tier 1 global carriers to regional ISPs and mobile operators.

    The UK and European HR team provides HR generalist guidance to employees across UK, Belgium, Greece, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Sweden and Netherlands and is the first point of contact for all HR enquires from employees and line managers.

    This varied role will see the successful candidate reporting to the Human Resources Manager and act as the local Human Resources point of call to our employees based across our European countries as designated. He/she will also work closely with UK HR Executive to provide support to both European and when required UK based colleagues. He/she will provide a wide spectrum of hands on operational HR services and solutions to the region.

    This role would ideally suit someone who has a background of working in a generalist HR operations environment, has knowledge of European HR and is looking to expand his/her knowledge and move to the next step. Key responsibilities include but not limited to, payroll and payroll reporting, on boarding new employees, preparation of contracts and letters, visa, performance management and employee relations.

    Major duties will include:

    Assist with key HR end-to-end processes to ensure the Business complies with all in country laws;

    Working closely with HR Talent acquisition team and hiring managers to on board employees, including but not limited to contract creation, updating HRIS systems, inductions and off-boarding employees when they leave;

    Work closely with HR colleagues to monthly reports for staff movements and payroll purposes;

    Specifically work with the Belgian jurisdiction

    Prepare HR information for payroll reports and work closely with the payroll team and payroll vendors to ensure payroll is correct;

    Administer benefits programs in the Belgium and other European countries where applicable;

    Keep track of visa expiry dates and ensure all employees meet the right to work standards in the countries they are employed

    Work closely with other HR team members to ensure consultants paperwork is correct, up to date and invoices are paid in a timely manner;

    Prepare purchase requests and invoice settlements for HR related activities;

    Work with HR Managers to ensure staff movement across countries is handled efficiently and effectively including drafting visa support letters;

    Build and maintain effective partnership with internal customers;

    Assist in providing day-to-day performance management guidance to line management ;

    Skills and Experience:

    A minimum of 2 years' relevant HR experience

    HR qualification to CIPD level 3 or equivalent

    Fluent French & English.

    Good business acumen, good numerical, analytical skills and eye for detail

    Knowledge and understanding of benefits administration, payroll and employment law

    Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

    This role is based in the City of London, and there is a requirement to working in the office at least 2 – 3 days a week. The salary is a basic up to £45000 with an additional bonus and excellent associated benefits.
