- Develop SiC epi layers to meet the requirements of production device line.
- Using DOE technique to design and conduct experiments to improve epi layers and device performance.
- In cross functional Teams, takes a practical approach to solve process & equipment issues.
- Provide process suggestions to the Team for the improvement of the product (process performance, reliability, and other criteria).
- Produce technical papers and presentations on process, equipment, and device integration improvement.
- Education: Master/PhD degree in materials science, physics, chemical engineering, or electrical engineering.
- Experience: 5+ years in the semiconductor process & manufacturing industry.
- Skills: Knowledge and hands-on experience with Chemical Vapor Deposition Equipment for the development of epitaxial films for the semiconductor device manufacturing.
- Desirable: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the growth and characterization of Si, SiC, GaN epitaxial films.
- Characterization Skills: Ability to characterize the epitaxial layers for their physical and electrical properties (using: FTIR, CV, Surface defects mapping, etc).
- Process Development: Ability to develop and characterize epitaxial processes using DOE and advanced statistical methods.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively, verbally, and written form through technical presentations and technical reports.
- Personal Traits: Self-motivated, results-oriented with high commitment to quality.
