    Regional Key Account Manager

    The Role: Our client is looking for a Regional Key Account Manager to cover the Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the areas of Carlisle and Newcastle. As a Regional Key Account Manager you will be selling a range of cable management solutions into a vast array of OEM's end users such as: panel builders, M&E Contractors, data centres, power companies, rail, mining, agriculture etc. Your key role is to find new applications for your solutions within the OEM and End User client base. Once the demand has been generated with that end user on their project you will pull the sell back through the electrical wholesale network (Edmundson's, Rexel, CEF etc). The role covers the entirety of Scotland, Northern Ireland (over there at least once every 6-8 weeks), and Carlisle & Newcastle. It has in excess of 250 live accounts across the wholesale network and limitless opportunities within the end user arena.

    This exciting and varied Regional Key Account Manager position will see you deal with Design Engineers, M&E Engineers, Site level, Branch Managers, Counter Staff, & Procurement on a Regional & National level. As such, you will need to have the ability to deal with many different types of decision maker.

    We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

    • Have a consistent B2B field sales track record selling to OEM's and Industrial end users
    • Understanding of the sales process with distribution partners, electrical wholesalers and end users
    • Have an eagerness and willingness to learn & develop
    • Professional in approach

    Salary:

    £40-47,000 basic salary DOE

    + 15% Bonus

    + Company Car (hybrid options)

    + 25 days holiday

    + pension scheme
