SSQ is representing one of the key players in the data centre revolution in their search for a Senior Commercial Counsel. Our client is aiming to establish Europe's leading edge platform, with a presence already established in 12 countries and ambitious plans for further expansion.

Reporting into the SVP GC, this is a key role within the legal team providing strategic advice and guidance on all commercial legal matters for the group.

Responsibilities will include:

• Proving day-to-day support across all functions within the group with a particular focus on commercial issues and corporate support matters.
• Providing advice on the drafting/ negotiation of terms from principal commercial contracts including in support of sales contracts, partnerships and agency contracts with global strategic partners and procurement contracts.
• Work with senior stakeholders in the execution of the group's European strategy, including the execution of key strategic M&A transactions and the integration of acquired businesses.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years PQE within a commercial team and have experience working with data centres.
