Position Overview
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Assistant to join us. You will take responsibility of support the day-to-day operations of Sample Dispatch facility and stores activities. We are offering this role on a full time, permanent basis.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Receive, pack, prepare and ship R&D samples globally, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and transport regulations
Track shipments at end user request and investigate any missing shipments or shipments errors
Ensure that material with special handling, storage or distribution requirements are properly monitored and stored
Manage all stock required for all sample dispatch activities

Experience Required

Full training will be provided, so all we need is pro-active, "can do" attitude and commitment to continuous improvement, however it will be beneficial if you have experience with shipping dangerous goods or scientific goods, logistics/ warehouse/ storesexperience.

One of responsibilities will be data entry and support with reporting so IT/Excel skills will be beneficial.
