Health & Safety Administrator

Perm Contract

Salary:
£32k to £35k
Resourcing Group are currently recruiting for a new exciting perm health & safety administrator role for a contractor in South East London


Purpose of the role:


As the HSEQ Administrator, you will assist the HSEQ Department in the planning, delivery, monitoring and reporting of the Health, Safety, Environment and Wellbeing Strategy.


General Responsibilities:


  • The role will support the ongoing maintenance of a robust and compliant quality management system across the business, thus assuring the consistency and quality of processes and services through effective subcontractor and supplier management.
  • You will assist with the monitoring the organisation's compliance with regulations and internal policies to ensure they are updated with the relevant laws.
  • Record their findings properly and follow up with HSEQ Manager and Operations Manager to ensure the issues are rectified.
  • Assist in the internal gathering of information in response to requests by regulatory organisations.
  • Work with the persons responsible for procurement to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
  • Working with the Compliance manager to produce Operation and maintenance manuals (O&M) and Health and Safety Files.

Skills and Experiences

  • Proven experience in an health & safety Administrative Role in the construction sector essential.
  • Proven experience in working with databases and modular software packages beneficial.
  • Proven experience in data management and analysis essential.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels essential.
  • Proven ability to work in a multitask environment essential.
  • Proficient user of all Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
  • Essential.
