    Data Migration Engineer

    • Opportunity for a Data Migration Engineer to join a leading Investment Management company in London
    • 6-9 month contract with possibility to extend
    • 4 days on-site a week in Central London
    • Offering a day rate of between £400 - £500 per day

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

    • Lead the transition of data management processes from outsourcing to an in-house model.
    • Manage and optimize databases to ensure efficiency and reliability.
    • Utilize Python/R and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in data management and security.
    • Proactively identify and resolve data quality issues to maintain the integrity of our data assets.

    Data Migration Engineer – ESSTENTIAL SKILLS

    • Proven experience in database management, with expertise in SQL.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
    • Strong background in the financial or investment industry, with a deep understanding of financial instruments and market dynamics.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
