We are looking for a keen individual to help support our Operations team during a period of maternity leave. This is a full-time permanent role and a great opportunity to join our team.

Role Objectives:

You will be required to work as part of a small busy transport team, routing our LPG delivery and trunking vehicles each day, ensuring our customer expectations are met in the most cost efficient and safe way.

Main Responsibilities:

• Planning HGV's delivering directly to customers taking into account the trucks maintenance plans and drivers hours and shift patterns.
• Planning the HGV's used for trunking LPG from the refinery to the depots taking into account supply contracts and product availability
• Ensure all trucks are presented for maintenance in line with company and o licence requirements.
• Speak to the drivers and liaise with the sales team about delivery issues.
• Arrange extra shifts for drivers as and where needed.
• Use prediction tools to create orders and maintain an excellent service level.
• Manage holiday rota to ensure cover for workload.
• Use Telemetry information from customers tanks to plan deliveries.

Personal Requirements:

• Previous planning experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Computer literate
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay and Benefits

• Salary £30,900
• 4 additional "Energy" payments of £300 per year to help with fuel
