- Design, implement, and optimise hardware design solutions.
- Monitor and revise delivery to achieve agreed KPI's.
- Ensure all designs meet relevant safety and industry standards.
- Deliver cost efficient, obsolescence tolerant designs.
- Participate in hardware/software co-design and system-level debugging.
- Support FAT, SAT & Commissioning activity.
- Leading smaller projects, collaborating on larger ones.
- Follow industry best practice and company quality standards whilst looking for opportunities for improvement.
- Electronics Engineering or related degree or NVQ level 5
- 3+ years practical and relevant experience in Hardware Electronics Design role
- Experience with Analogue audio, Mirco controller/processor (STM32, Arm9, PIC), reverse engineering analysis techniques.
- Desired experience in transformer design, power supply design, FPGA/CPLD, CCTV/Networking, DFMEA, Railway environment & standards
