Job purpose and overall objective


To be responsible for accurately processing payment & collection files to strict deadlines and liaising with numerous internal and external customers.

All tasks are completed in line with agreed procedures, quality and deadlines.


The department performs a variety of functions for clients including within this role complex processing and authorising of files in agreement with the Senior Technical Data Associate.


Main responsibilities and duties

  • Process client files as required through BacsActive and other required payment platforms
  • Process complex/managed client files
  • Liaise across internals service lines to ensure delivery of payments
  • Ensure the timely receipt and processing of all data in accordance with set deadlines
  • Send and monitor all data in line with departmental procedures
  • Data handling in accordance with software profiles
  • Data verification
  • Management of customer databases and associated administration
  • Maintain departmental housekeeping and procedural documentation
  • Scan and file information and general housekeeping duties
  • Support with departmental training as required
  • Support the Senior Technical Data Associate with the Onboarding on new clients
  • Process and submit online / overseas payments via customers banking platforms
  • Authorise specific Bacs files in coordination with the Senior Technical Data Associate
  • Support the Senior Technical Data Associate with scheduling and reporting

Salary:
£20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
