Description

Ideal World are seeking an Assistant Buyer to assist the Buyer in developing product ranges to meet sales, margin and stock targets within a specific product/category area.


Alongside the Buyer, you will create TV shows which encourage engagement with the TV customer, ensuring all shows have a clear strategy and are briefed full and accurately.

Specifically, you will ensure that icards are accurate and up to date, presenters and producers are briefed, samples are available, suitable guests are booked, pricing is accurate & compliant and upsells are in place.

As Assistant Buyer, you will also prepare information for product ranges/selection meetings, gather customer, supplier and competitor information, request product samples or information, competitive shopping reports and prepare product direction boards.

You will collaborate with the Merchandising Assistant to ensure all Commercial Approval Forms are accurately and comprehensively completed and deputise for the Buyer, attending relevant meetings such as daily trade meetings and CAM meetings.
