    Job Title: Management Accountant
    Location: Bristol (Hybrid working)
    Salary: £42,000 - £46,000 Dependent on Experience + 6 Monthly Bonus

    Job Summary:

    As a Management Accountant, you'll oversee accounting and accounts preparation for our businesses. Your goal is to maintain accurate financial records and provide stakeholders with timely financial information for decision-making and performance monitoring. This role suits those experienced in monthly management accounts or similar, seeking to join a dynamic team. Open to individuals across various experience levels and backgrounds.

    Open to Part Qualified or Qualified Management Accountants, you will ideally have experience in a similar role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including Bank Reconciliation, Accruals, prepayment journal, and Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
    • Assisting the Financial Controller in annual accounts for statutory audits.
    • Stakeholder support in understanding Profit & Loss statements and other financial data.
    • Management of day-to-day financial queries.
    • Preparation of Weekly and Monthly OPW Payroll.
    • Financial support to the business development team.
    • Participation in the annual budget process.
    • Oversight of cost control and business analysis.
    • Leadership and support for the Accounts team.
    • Accuracy maintenance of the accounts database.
    • Production and analysis of monthly management information.
    • Insights for ad hoc reporting.
    • Identification of profit improvement opportunities within client accounts.

    Who You Are:

    • Financial Expertise: Strong foundation in finance.
    • Educational Background: University degree in a related field OR relevant practical experience.
    • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with Windows applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Effective Communication: Ability to communicate with people at all levels.
    • Analytical Skills: Capable of analysing and interpreting information.
    • Prioritisation Skills: Ability to manage tasks effectively.
    • Problem-Solving and Strategic Thinking: Problem-solving mindset and strategic thinking.
    • Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work well in a team and build strong relationships.
