JOB PURPOSE

To support the Commercial Manager and effectively carry out all commercial functions.

· Produce timely and accurate costing models and business analysis in line with requirements.

· Promote continuous improvement, through identifying and developing commercial opportunities.

· Be an effective member of the commercial team on all levels.

· Ensure the accurate flow of information through the department and to/from other areas of the business.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial

· To act as an Estimator directed by the Commercial manager.

· To contribute to on going projects including both analysis and optimizing costs.

· To participate in all activities of the department including estimates, costing, pricing and analysis.

· To ensure that all estimates and live jobs and historical data are accurate and reflect the optimum manufacturing capability.

Communication

· You will be expected to liaise, update and report to the Commercial manager.

· Also to regularly mediate with all appropriate internal stakeholders for commercial and pricing decisions including purchasing, planning and production, sales and senior management.

· Collating reports using monthly and historical data

· Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry in general

· Experience using a Business Management System ideally bespoke for manufacturing
