    We have an exciting opportunity for Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Endoscopy Unit at The London Clinic. We are offering a competitive inclusive salary range of £41,310 - £50,481 per annum.

    The London Clinic's JAG accredited Endoscopy Unit is a progressive and dynamic service offering a wide range of complex and diagnostic endoscopic procedures. As the Deputy Sister, you will help to provide strong leadership and management in all aspects of Endoscopy ensuring the highest possible standard for nursing care and service delivery with effective utilisation of resources.

    Job Profile

    Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week..

    Shifts: Monday to Friday between 8am – 8pm as per rota.

    Salary: £41,310 - £50,481 per annum, depending on skills and experience .

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Support the nursing team to provide individualised patient care by utilising skill mix appropriately within the available resources.
    • Ensure staff are aware of and work within national and locally agreed policies and procedures.
    • Support the Senior Sister with the development and implementation of the management and organisation of the service.
    • Fully support the implementation of JAG and National guidelines and standards in the department.

    Skills & Experience

    • Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin.
    • BSc in Nursing or Health Studies.
    • Leadership & Management experience
    • Experience of Endoscopy or a related speciality such as gastroenterology, colorectal surgery or theatres.
    • Ability to work calmly and methodically when under pressure from a busy and varied workload.
