Events company
- main custom based is hen parties and arranging activities. We are a fast growing entertainment activity company, which supplies fun group activities to the Hen & Stag
party market. Due to the business expansion we are looking for an Events Operation Administrator to join the team.


What will the apprentice be doing?:

  • Main part of this role is managing all correspondence with the customers and suppliers (there is no cold calling)
  • Detailed operation of the event business process including putting bookings on the system, resource / supplier allocation, after event reporting etc.
  • Booking in venues for activities. On new customer's bookings you will check off and secure in writing with all the suppliers. These can include venues, a daytime event and an evening event
  • Allocating activities to the correct suppliers, for example selecting dance instructors to run specific dance themes
  • Undertake administration tasks, you will update customers with party itineraries via our internal system
  • Monitoring systems to ensure bookings and payments are correct
  • You will request and cooriginate invoices with our suppliers
  • Comfortable working on your own and with the company director
  • You will be working in our internal system. Therefore, data entry, accuracy, attention to detail & confident use of IT systems is a high priority
  • Overview of our product range, so you are aware of what your customers are booking. Dance classes, Life drawing, Butlers, Pamper Parties
As our business is seasonal, some months are busier than others. Therefore, other projects will be introduced for you to work on in line with your skillset at times. Our offices are open 6 days a week.


What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?:
Level 3 Businness Administrator Apprenticeship

To be completed at apprentices work place and delivered by Professional Training Solutions


What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?:

Once qualified there would be potential to stay with in the team as a Senior Events Administrator or more managerial role for the right applicant.

Qualifications:

Working week:


This role will work 5 days a week, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week between Monday to Saturday.

These days will consist of 8 hours between 8am-7pm


Expected duration:

18 Months
