GSL is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream primary school in North Tyneside.

The school are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and resourceful individuals to join a dedicated and hardworking team of specialised support staff.

Graduate Teaching Assistant

Provide dedicated support to teachers in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Assist students with their academic, social, and emotional development, offering individual attention and guidance.
Taking small groups for interventions – for example Maths or Phonics
Carry out administrative duties, such as preparing the classroom and clearing away after class to ensure effective teaching can take place
Requirements of the role

Positive approach to working with children and the ability to motivate, inspire and build rapport.
You will have loads of initiative, be well organised and pro-active
Respect for diversity, as you'll be working with pupils from a range of backgrounds
Communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with pupils, parents, teachers and governors.
Reading, writing and numeracy skills.
Recently qualified or about to finish Teaching Assistant qualification.
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
