Part-Qualified Accountant
Location: Taunton
Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and eager-to-learn Part-Qualified Accountant to join an expanding accountancy practice. As a Part-Qualified Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team of experienced accountants in preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with tax compliance. You will work closely within the team to gain valuable experience in the accounting profession while pursuing your professional accounting qualification.
Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Prepare bank reconciliations and petty cash reports
• Assist with tax compliance activities and bookkeeping
• Perform other accounting tasks as assigned
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance accounting skills
• Take an active role during team meetings and discussions.

• Currently pursuing a recognised accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, ACA) (with approximately two years' experience)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
