    DMGT's venture arm, dmg ventures, investment, bloobloom is seeking a strategic CFO to support them in their rapidly expanding start up based in Notting Hill, London.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the C-Suite team to drive commercial decision making, including international expansion strategy and new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain effective financial processes, people and systems to deliver a fit for purpose finance and planning function that is ready for significant growth
  • Ensure that adequate controls are in place and maintained
  • Coordinate annual budgeting and reforecasting
  • Oversee the preparation of statutory and management accounts
  • Take responsibility for in-house and outsourced support functions including accounting, audit, legal/compliance and tax
  • Manage the board reporting and investor relations
  • Lead future fundraising efforts from the preparation of materials to closing the round
  • Essential Skills & Experience:
  • CFO experience within a high growth scale-up (consumer, retail or ecommerce)
  • Strong technical accounting skills (qualified ACA or equivalent)
  • Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Hands-on mindset with a track record of turning early-stage finance functions into well-oiled machines with clear reporting
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, including recruiting, managing and developing staff
  • Experience interacting with board level stakeholders
  • Previous fundraising experience (Series B and beyond) would be advantageous
