Our client, one of the UK's leading civil engineering contractors, are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Edinburgh.

They are keen to speak with someone with experience within the Civil Engineering sector working on high profileprojects throughout Scotland.

They are currentlyoperating within civil and build sectors, but have capabilities to offer a diverse service offering to their clients making them one of the faster-growing organisations in the UK.

As a Project Manager you should would have proven experience in managing and delivering projects safely, on budget and to agreed standards

Your will be responsible for:

  • Manage the engineering, design/installation process, and ensure that all health and safety procedures are adhered to
  • Reports and record keeping.
  • Liaise with Contract Manager to communicate programme risks and produce records and notices for contractual correspondence.
  • Attend meetings with the Client, the Designers, Specialist Contractors and management.
  • Review drawings for completeness of information and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Ensure that all work complies with contract requirements.
  • Work with project team to manage all engineering work on project.
  • Reports and record keeping.
  • Liaising with existing and new clients.
  • Reporting, updating and communicating to all parties on a regular basis.
  • Work within schedule budgets
  • Management of site personnel.
  • Ensure the client and management teams are kept appraised of variations to the works and any matter likely to have commercial or contractual implications.
  • Ensure that all contractual agreements are adhered to.

You should have a methodical approach, great interpersonal skill and have the following skills:

  • Educated to a degree or HNC level in Project Management.
  • Proven experience of managing various Civil Engineering projects.
  • Possess an extensive level of technical knowledge, understanding, control and responsibility for all civils site activities.
  • Be a proactive communicator.
  • Full UK driver's license.
  • Be willing to travel to various site locations.
