**Quality Inspector - Manufacturing - Coventry

  • Nights **Are you a Quality Inspector based in the Coventry who is looking for a new challenge? If so, I have the perfect opportunity for you to join a progressive Coventry engineering and manufacturing organisation.
This Engineering/Manufacturing company produce Aerospace components and are specialists in turning, milling, grinding and rolling.


The Inspector will be responsible for:

  • Inspection of parts where required in line with company policies, procedures and documentation such as engineering drawings, and inspection control plans.
  • Ability to use inspection equipment including callipers, micrometres, OGP, CMM
  • Traditional manual inspections
  • Work with QE's and Production Incident team to support product disposition
  • Work effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operational teams to eliminate any barriers that may affect the quality.
  • Quality systems experience in ISO9001 / AS9100 / QS9000
  • Key customer requirements knowledge, Rolls-Royce, Rolls-Royce CS, Meggitt, SAFRAN, BAE Systems
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing GD&T

Required experience:


  • Experience of working within a manufacturing environment in essential.
  • Have served a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent level 3 qualification in inspection.
  • Conversant with Quality procedures and with inspection techniques.
  • Have previous CMM Experience is desirable.
