This is an excellentopportunity for someone who has initiative and is not afraid ofhard work. You will be a warm and friendly face for the manypatients who visit the pharmacy on a daily basis advising them onover the counter medication and dispensing of patientmedicines.

Reporting directly to the PharmacistManager your support is vital to the pharmacist in the provision ofmany different services. You will be part of a hardworking andestablished team working in the dispensary and will be involved indeveloping relationships with patients and surgeries in order toensure that we deliver the most effective customer service.Teamwork is a vital part of this familyowned business which seeksto reward recognise and empower our staff.

Responsibilities& Duties:

To support andassist all members of the pharmacy team.

Todispense prescriptions accurately and professionally within legaland company guidelines.

To assist in thedestruction of returned controlled drugs with thepharmacist.

Accurately check prescriptions andMDS packs after clinical screening by thePharmacist.

To comply with the GPHC code ofconduct and ethics.

Ensure the correct storageof the medication ensure good stock rotation and monitor and checkexpiry dates.

Sort and file prescriptions andother relevant paperwork as per the Companys Standard OperatingProcedure.

Responsible for cashing up andbanking.

Maintain a clean & tidyenvironment.

Liaise with GP surgeries and theirteams to enable the pharmacy to deliver the highest possiblecustomerservice.

Qualifications& Skills:

*You will holdan NVQ2 and NVQ3 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services and TechnicalPharmaceutical Science.

*We alsoRequired you to maintain your GPHC yearlyregistration.

*You must have basic IT knowledgeand good customer service skills.

*Also to beable to perform well under pressure and work as part of ateam.
