    Description

    As Business Development Manager - Renewables, you will be responsible for increasing the renewables sector revenue for Ashtead Technology globally.

    Working closely with the Integrated Projects Director and the wider leadership team, you will increase awareness of the group's renewables focussed products and service capabilities, identifying and implementing sustainable renewables revenue growth strategies in both existing and new service/s and geographical areas.

    You will be a prominent & positive representative for Ashtead Technology actively networking, holding client meetings, attending industry events, conducting lunch and learns, and organising and participating in Ashtead Technology client entertainment events.


    Reporting to the Integrated Projects Director, s ome of your key responsibilities will be;

    Market intelligence – you will monitor the renewables market, ensuring market intelligence is effectively captured and reported to use effectively in business decision making processes.

    Reporting & communication – develop a renewables BD action plan & map the market, circulating daily client contact reports and maintain the pipeline of opportunities in the CRM.

    This role is key to the growth plans of our business worldwide and the successful candidate will be a tenacious, target driven, go-getter

    What will help you be successful in this role?

    Extensive Business Development experience, preferably within the offshore renewables equipment supply and services sector.
    Ability to win business and secure new business consistently and effectively with a clear commercial instinct.
