- Supporting the team with Routine Tenancy Visits, Pre Notice Inspections, Visit in Pairs and Low Rise Flat Inspections
- Investigate breaches of tenancy; gather information and evidence drawing on a range of data sources to inform decisions to manage the case
- Serve legal notices on tenants, prepare reports and witness statements to ensure tenancy conditions are complied with
- Management of empty or abandoned properties making sure the property is safe and secure, and procedures are followed to end the tenancy correctly
- Assisting customers in applying for housing benefit, universal credit and other welfare benefits, discretionary housing payments or other similar schemes to support them in maintaining their rent paymentsRequirements:
- Previous experience of working in Tenancy
- Evidence of dealing with the public in sensitive situations with an awareness of promoting equality and diversity
- Experience of applying policies and procedures to casework including meeting relevant legislation as required
