An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator in the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Sheffield.


You will provide professional administrative support to the academic staff within the department of Neuroscience, the duties will be varied and include comprehensive administrative support, diary management and dealing with a wide range of queries and correspondence.

In liaison with the Department Manager, you will also be responsible for all department day-to-day financial transactions which include maintenance of records and monitoring of budgets, and acting as first point of contact for all queries relating to research reporting.

You will possess excellent organization and problem solving skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels. Some knowledge of University working processes/protocols would be a distinct advantage.

The post is open ended and available immediately.
