Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician - Chemistry to work at our customers site in Derby on a contract basis.

The Laboratory Technician - Chemistry role will involve analysis in a radiological controlled laboratory to support a 24/7 production environment.

The emphasis is on team work so the role will include analysis, cleaning, sample preparation, carrying out health and safety checks and quality checks for pipettes, balances and instrumentation.

Minimum 2 years post education lab experience.
Minimum qualification level - A- level Chemistry or equivalent.
Able to work shifts including weekend workingDesirable person requirements:

Experience of working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
