SPP is continuously expanding its product range and the markets it supplies into. This requires the recruitment of high quality/high potential candidates to become key members of a growing team.

Due to the team expanding an exciting opportunity has become available for a Stores Operative to join our team in Sherburn, near Malton North Yorkshire. The Purpose of this role is to manage the stock for the production facility within the business including all consumables and PPE.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages stock levels of PPE and consumables - welding wire, flux, torches,
• Replenishing the vending machines – monitor stock levels – twice a day
• Submit requests to purchasing
• Chase requests as and when required – assessing urgency
• Expediting
• Unloading deliveries, ensuring everything is stored correctly
• Managing the booking in of tools – consumables
• Ensuring the stores are kept in order and tidy
• When overalls are brought onto site from cleaning/repair ensures that they are put in peoples lockers
• Ordering new starter overalls and PPE
• Managing stock levels for the cleaners
• Responsible for tools for the machines and profile cutters
• Restocks cleaning cupboards for the office and factory

The hours of work for this role are: Monday - Friday 7am-3pm
