- £550 p/day

Company:A global corporation that is entering a digital transformation phase is hiring a UAT Technical Test Lead who has strong experience of functional business testing, system testing and UAT testing within Operations. To succeed, you must have an ISTQB or ISEB qualification,work within a Waterfall / Agile environment and can technically lead a global team of 20/30 test Analysts in multiple locations worldwide. Additionally, a proportion of this project will be to deliver planning and power user training to ensure users are briefedand aware of the system once up and running. This is contract opportunity paying up to £600 PD outside IR 35 for 6 months with remote working to be based in either London or Manchester (90% to 95% remote).

Support the completion of integration between the supplier tools and the enterprise systems we use such as SAP and MyHR and active directory.

The focus will also be on the planning of testing to create plans for integration test and UAT of all components workingwith external supplier, technical leads, senior user team, and UAT stakeholders.

Managing and leading testing sessions with technical lead, senior user team, UAT stakeholders, functional consultants.

Unit testing with a goal to ensure that extracted data fromsource systems is loaded error-free into the tool so that components can be tested.

This will also run through to full system testing and users acceptance testing.

Role overview/responsibilities:

Scope, plan, prepare and coordinate the test activity for projects, releases, change and defect fixes to achieve successful delivery to time, quality and budget.
Mentor test analyst and junior members of the testing team globally where required including carrying out monthly one to one sessions with assigned resource in the UK and India supporting assigned projects.
Planning and power user training to ensure users are briefed and aware of the system and how to test and operate the software. Creating training plan, assemble supplierprovided training material, tailoring of material and working with the supplier, senioruser, training stakeholders and project team.
Ensure team create and maintain detailed test scenarios, test cases and test scripts which are fit for purpose for each project and test phase in line with the agreed testing policy and procedures and agreed strategy and approach.
Ensure project deliverables are met and delivered on time for each project and test phase. Escalate any slippage to Test Manager and Senior Test Manager where appropriate.
Produce regular quality reporting and status updates as required for assigned projects and areas of expertise.
Ensure all test results are accurately recorded with the required documentation during all phases of test execution.
Understand and execute end to end test process, implementing quality recommendations with support from the Test Management Team.
Provide forecasted and actual test estimates to contribute to overall project or change planning timelines and resource requirements specifically for required testing cycles based on approved entry and exit criteria.

Technical skill set:

5 years+ within a functional UAT test lead position is essential
Enterprise UAT, System Testing capabilities utilising tools such as SAP, MyHR or Active Directory is essential
Experience of delivering training sessions, training plans and assembling supplier provided training material is essential
Experience working with offshore teams is essential
Line Management experience is essential
Detailed knowledge of the software development cycle and the defect resolution process is essential
Detailed knowledge of System Testing, regression testing and User Acceptance frameworks is essential
Detailed knowledge of Testing Methodologies and Testing Lifecycle is essential.
Thorough understanding of structured test methods and processes covering manual and automated testing is essential
Knowledge and experience writing SQL queries and database interrogation through structured SQL queries is desirable

Rate - £550 p/day - Remote (90% to 95%) occasional monthly meetings in Manchester or London - one stage interview MS teams.
