AGL Training Ltd are looking to recruit an Apprentice Business Administrator on behalf our well-established client based in Much Wenlock.

Since its formation in 2002, our client has established itself as the UK's foremost manufacturer of hydraulic lime mortar, lime plaster, lime render and more recently grown a successful insulations business in which they are looking to introduce an Apprentice Customer Assistant.

The company is looking for an enthusiastic person ideally with an interest in sustainable building practices.

The position is for an Apprenticeship, initially 15 months with the strong possibility of a full-time role at the end of the programme.

During this time, you will work towards the following qualifications:

Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standards Level
Highfield Level 3 Diploma in Business Administrator
Highfield Level 2 Functional Skills English and Maths

General Duties

You will receive FULL TRAINING to enable you to carry out the following duties:

You will be responsible for helping customers and distributors with answering questions on a range of building products.
You will coordinate all product enquiries, supported by senior technical staff.
Shadow site visits and product demonstrations where required.
Resolve customer problems and maintain high standards of customer care.
Making and receiving telephone calls.
Processing Orders.
Dealing with delivery issues.

Skills and Requirements

Hold a GSCE Grade 4 or above (or an equivalent).
Be enthusiastic person ideally with an interest in sustainable building practices.
Be hardworking and willing to learn.
Be able to follow instruction.
Be able to commute to Much Wenlock daily.

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8.30am - 5pm

Total hours paid: 40 hours weekly

Pay:

Starting hourly rate:
£ ph (negotiable depending on experience)
