We currently have an opportunity for a Mechanical Estimator & CAD/Revit Technician to join our team.

About Brookvent
Brookvent is an award-winning manufacturer, specialising in residential ventilation systems, based just outside Belfast in Dunmurry.

As a leading UK manufacturer, the company designs and produces a wide range of products from high performing Glazed-In Window Vents to market leading Heat Recovery Ventilation systems (HRV/MVHR).

Brookvent is expanding its operations and we're looking for a determined individual to be part of our team.

Responsibilities

Deliver high quality working drawings for Mechanical Ventilation systems using Revit or AutoCAD software.
Develop designs for both small, and largescale projects.
Review and evaluate tender specification documents to ascertain project requirements and suitability of designs, proposed mechanical products & materials.
Produce accurate takeoffs from selfgenerated and consultant issued project design drawings.
Provide compliant, accurate and competitive quotations to the Brookvent Sales Team.
Identify value engineering opportunities within a project.
Liaise with the Brookvent Sales Teams, Consultants and Contractors whenever necessary.
Assist customers directly with product and design enquiries.
Any other duties as required.

Requirements:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft packages.
Experience in Estimation, construction drawing takeoffs and providing project tenders.
Confident communication skills.
Selfmotivated with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Technical proficiency within the Mechanical Building Services industry, particularly in the HVAC sector would be advantageous.
Experience of working within the residential construction/ architecture sector would be advantageous.
Access to a car would be preferred, but is not essential
Heat Pump experience desirable
