    Risk and Assurance Analyst
    Permanent, Full Time
    (Hybrid working role - minimum two office-based days a week in London)

    About the Team PPL's Finance team manages the planning, organising, auditing, and accounting for the company's finances. They are responsible for all incoming and outgoing payments from PPL, including making over 100,000 payments to performers and recording rightsholders annually. What you'll be doing: We're looking for a dynamic Risk and Assurance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in enhancing our risk management and assurance function. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development of this function, ensuring timely delivery of the annual internal audit plan and offering advisory services to foster an efficient control environment within the business.     • You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing risk management processes across the organisation. Maintaining the corporate risk register and support departments in identifying and managing their individual risks through departmental risk registers.
    • Provide insights to shape the annual internal audit plan, ensuring it stays on budget and meets agreed timeline.
    • You'll assess the organisation's ongoing risk management practices, including policy, processes, and internal control systems, ensuring they meet high standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with management to design and implement improved controls, ensuring adherence across all relevant systems and processes.
    • Effectively communicate findings, including control deficiencies and improvement opportunities, to senior management through clear written reports and issue meetings.
    • Work constructively with other assurance providers, such as PPL's external auditors to ensure comprehensive coverage and effective risk management.
