The role
We're now looking for an experienced, motivated Account Handler, working a Commercial book of business to join us here at Jensten Motor Trade, which is part of the Jensten Group.
We are one of the leading providers of specialist, exclusive and cost effective insurance products to the Motor trade, Chauffeur and Construction sectors.
The UK's leading insurance companies have provided us with underwriting authority which enables us to provide an efficient service to all our clients.
Bexleyheath office on a hybrid basis, although remote working maybe considered (following successful completion of the training period)
Key objectives & responsibilities will include:
- Offer and present insurance solutions including insurance policies and other risk management solutions, with purpose to secure renewal and/or new business.
- To assist in team performance by regular communication with colleagues and manager to establish and raise concerns and provide solutions.
- Identify and pursue crossselling, upselling and similar opportunities. Utilise all leads provided to you by the company and develop new and efficient ways to increase the quote volume.
- Achieve or exceed agreed income retention and policy count set targets
- To understand client's business operations, opportunities and risks and their approach to risk management and insurance.
- To ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA
About you
As one of our
Account Handlers, you'll have excellent communication and written skills with a keen eye for detail.
You will be the type of person who wants to constantly develop, and you can expect fantastic career progression, training & development within the role and Insurance Industry in general.
You will also be or have:
- Insurance background
- Relevant qualifications (e.g Cert CII) or working towards (ideally)
- Great customer service skills
- Has a good level of organisation skills and is able to work in a fast paced environment and keeping close attention to detail
- Excellent telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily
- Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance
- Worked in a similar role previously, with experience of working with Insurers and clients
- Able to use initiative and can multitask, updating relevant systems and admin
