D&T plays a critical role in enabling Diageo's digital agenda through delivering our strategic priorities in many areas, including E-Commerce and Digital Marketing.

Role purpose


As the D&T Technical Lead - Diageo Data Platform (DDP) for Consumer, you will be the global D&T leader, looking at innovative ways to deliver a best in class, personalised omnichannel experience across DDP while helping build further the awareness and equity of our brands.


The solutions for the Luxury and Corporate and Brand Homes domains are built on top of and alongside our direct-to-consumer (D2C) white-label platform 'Diageo Digital Platform (DDP)', with tight integrations with our Digital Marketing Factory solutions ecosystem for Consumer Data, CRM, Media & Activation capabilities.


Working closely with the D&T DDP Tech Product Owner/Platform Owner, you will work alongside business owners and leaders of the Luxury & Corporate and Brand Homes business line, D2C & Omnichannel, Digital Factory, Breakthrough Innovation product owners and wider Diageo teams to build and deliver the solutions ecosystems and integrations for these domains.

Working within a cross-functional team to prioritize features, define milestones, assign resources, assess risks, and help projects meet deadlines.

This role includes managing stakeholders, working closely with and being the single point of contact and escalation for cross-functional internal teams, key vendor partners as well as external agencies so that we deliver on the business and user objectives.

  • Key responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain oversight of the DDP omnichannel ecosystem and integration components
  • Be the single point of contact for internal and external teams regarding platform setup, support, etc.
  • Create and maintain up to date all technical documentation relating to the DDP omnichannel ecosystem and integrations
  • Participate in discovery and proof of concepts for both for new technologies that can enhance the DDP and in overcoming pain points/quick wins to satisfy the needs of the business today and building future capabilities.
  • Use your industry knowledge and innovative ideas to deliver a variety of highprofile projects to an exceptional standard.
  • Provide technical direction to development teams building DDP capabilities; own and define DDP coding, review lowlevel DDP integration designs, testing/hosting standards and governance to be applied
  • Liaise and maintain close collaboration with domain Product Owners, Solution Architects, Analytics & Insight, Strategy/Planning and RUN teams and to act as the escalation point for all DDPrelated technical issues
Qualifications and Experience Required- 8+ years' global digital omnichannel solutions build and implementation experience ie. MACH architecture, with a proven track record across product lifecycle (MVP, early service, scale up)- Excellent understanding of E-Commerce, performance marketing and CRM platforms and have
