Location Leeds


Salary Listing:
£21,000 Per Annum


As a Health and Safety Apprentice, you will be interested in learning, problem solving, and have a passion for health and safety.

You enjoy working as part of a team, are adaptable, confident, and have high levels of attention to detail. This role is for someone who loves a challenge and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo.


Your remit would be to prioritise activities, multi-task, provide data to board packs and reporting, and put forward suggestions for improvement.

You will be given the support and development to become a fully qualified health and safety professional.


In this role, you will assist with inspections, system audits, tool box talks, and investigations, and eventually take ownership of tasks, trend review & analysis, and risk assessments.

You will be instrumental in driving improvements and ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, championing our 'It Starts with me campaign'


To excel in this role, you'll need to be a team player with a willingness to learn and lead by example.

The Key Requirements...

  • Grade C or above in at least 5 GCSEs including English and Mathematics (94 within the new grading system)
  • A full UK or EU Driving License
  • You must be able to demonstrate your Right to Work in the UK, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role
  • You must be able to start on the 2nd September 202
  • You must live in a commutable distance from the office,WF17 (Birstall)
  • Ability to work on own initiative without direct supervision with a high commitment for delivery and quality

About the Apprenticeship
At the end of your apprenticeship, you will have achieved a Level 3 Health and Environment Technician Qualification. The course length is 24 months.
