Agency Healthcare Assistant

Here at Willing Care, we are seeking enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants for a variety of short-term agency roles.

Shifts will be based within Nursing and Care Homes that cater to younger and older adults, who might require general, dementia or mental health care.

Duties and Responsibilities of an Agency Healthcare Asssistant:

  • Providing personal care such as toileting, washing and dressing
  • Providing emotional and mental health support
  • Keeping residents comfortable and assisting with manual handling
  • Observing and monitoring the wellbeing of patients, ensuring any changes are reported and documented accordingly
  • Updating care plans

Requirements for the Agency Healthcare Assistant role:

  • 6 months minimum experience working within social care
  • Level 2 Health & Social Care, Level 3 is desirable
  • Previous care experience
  • Driving licence and access to a care is desirable

Salary:
From £11.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Newbury, Berkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Health &
Social Care: 1 year (required)


Licence/Certification:

  • Level 2/3 Health & Social Care (preferred)
