As an Examinations Administrative Officer, you should be confident, well organised, have the ability to prioritise and be proactive, with good IT skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
You should have the ability to communicate at all levels, both verbally and in writing. With a strong background in reading, following, explaining, and contributing to processes and procedures. You should have the skills for independent decision making and the ability to justify your own decisions.You will be able to work using your own initiative, with a flexible approach and adaptable to continuing change.
You will have a pivotal role, working within a dedicated area of responsibility, completing administrative procedures relating to examinations and achievements, for multiple qualifications and awarding bodies.
You must hold a minimum of GCSE English and maths at grade 4 – 9 (A – C), or equivalent, and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes, with experience of accurately inputting data.
You will ideally hold an advanced qualification e.g. Three A Levels, a Level 3 Diploma, or equivalent.An IT qualification such as ECDL or CLAIT and a minimum of two years' experience working in a busy office environment would be beneficial, but not essential.
