Toolsetter F2:

To provide a technical service to support the ongoing needs of the manufacturing department within Nifco UK Limited.

The main purpose of the role being to efficiently carry out tool changes to support section production plans, and to help the Assembly Technician / Section Leader with other technical issues.


Job responsibilities:


Main Duties:


  • Carry out tool changes effectively based on the relevant production plan.
  • Ensure all manufacturing equipment is set up to produce an efficient and capable process.
  • Assist the Section Leader and Technician to maximise machine utilisation, production efficiency and product quality.
  • Work with other members of staff to investigate problems and identify root causes, support the implementation of solution to prevent reoccurrences.
  • Practice good health and safety procedures.
  • To carry out any other relevant duties as required by the business.

Key skills:


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:


Essential

  • Interest in tool setting / mechanical aptitude.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or good working knowledge of the area.
  • Flexibility due to shift work.
