    We have fantastic opportunity for a Technical Services Consultant to join our Technical Services Division, where your main responsibilities will be supporting our partnership with Tax, Trust, Protection and Investment queries.

    Personal Skills

    This role involves liaising and interacting with multiple teams, such as Technical Connection Limited, Business Development & Advice, Partnership Support and Admin Centres, in addition to all Partner practices.

    As such, you will be required to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure adequate understanding of answers to queries and ultimately deliver the objectives for the Technical Connection division.

    You will need to be a good listener, thoughtful and analytical, and be able to convey complex information clearly on a daily basis through all media and to all levels including peer group, Senior Management, Partners and Partner Support Services

    Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to the Partnership regarding Tax, Trusts, Protection and Investments, and support the Partnership with the Investments Advice Guidance Framework
  • Accurately resolve technical and advice queries received via phone, email and other digital media within agreed service levels.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the technical query resolution service through liaison with various departments to develop systems and tools to support the Partnership in resolving their queries in the most efficient way.
  • Provide tailored presentations to potential and existing Partners to enable them to be the best and most productive that they can be.
  • Consult on custom complex queries as part our round table
  • service (a service that Partners book for longer more detailed queries), acting as the subject expert.
  • Take a high degree of personal responsibility for maintaining awareness and improving own technical knowledge in the Financial Services and Wealth Management sector, SJP products/processes/system knowledge as well as service skills.
  • Lead development for colleagues through the delivery of training in line with the Pathway to Competency to ensure the continuation of a high standard of service in the team.
  • Draft and technically sign off the development, launch and maintenance of supporting technical/advice framework content and material for distribution to the Partnership through selected media ( Techlink articles, Partnership websites).
  • Act as a subject matter export on projects within the division and wider company that we provide to our Partnership.

    Special Requirements

  • Demonstrate good knowledge of financial services evidenced by relevant experience
  • Qualified to CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
