We are looking for an experienced and organised Transport and Routing Planner to be responsible for multi drop routes.

Client Details

Our client is a leading transport business, Rotherham based and due to company expansion require a transport planner to join their site.

Description

Ensuring planned routes are in line with working time directive (WTD) and drivers' hours and are maximised to full efficiency.
Producing optimal transport plans and approving transport routes across our network, ensuring that the customer is at the centre of what we do.
Assisting the operations team to ensure the department runs efficiently and effectively and supporting the wider department on projects, objectives, and achieving goals.
Liaising and developing mutually respectful professional relationships with our drivers they are the face of our business
Ensuring the department complies with health and safety legislation and ensuring that our vehicles are running within legal limits.
Producing cost efficient operational transport plans daily.
Ensuring the department provides a quality first class service to the customer though careful planning.
