    Senior Operations Solutions Manager Europe

    About the Role

    DP World Logistics have an exciting opening for a Senior Operations Solutions Manager, to join our Operations PMO team. The Operations Solution Manager is critical for the successful delivery of market leading competitive solution offerings, for all EU & Non-EU Bid opportunities. You'll be a subject matter expert, providing input into the overall design steps that support the Bid Process. Reviewing and validating cost inputs owned by HR, Launch, Quality, EH&S functions prior to submitting to the pricing teams. You'll also be the key stakeholder in all Solution Workshops & Pricing Strategy Sessions, responsible for the delivery of the final design / outputs for all opportunities.

    NOTE: The position is a regional role ideally you will be based in either the UK, Germany, or Netherlands but applicants from wider EU countries will be considered. There is a requirement to travel up to 50% of the working week in line with business needs.

    How you will contribute

    Ensuring that Bid Manager, IT, Engineering, HR, QHSE and Operations are aligned and proposing the correct solution and process to deliver on the expected KPI's, operating within the determined budget and targeted efficiencies, and identifying operational risks upfront with the relevant proposed solutions.

    • Partnering with the Global IT, Engineering, Business Development/AC Mgt., Bid Manager HR, QHSE and Operations business unit leaders to drive profitable revenue growth.
    • Having expert knowledge of how customer and customer partner function, IT direction, Customer strategies; provides expert guidance and assistance in prioritising technology needs.
    • IRR to ensure costs are captured and aligned to deliver the solution in the timing requested.
    • the appropriate Operational support is provided to Sales /Bid Manager and IT functions in delivery of world class solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner.
    • identifying future issues/risks and developing recommendations for technology investment/ changes as appropriate to the customer.
    • and offer input to ensure alignment and delivery of the solution.
    • technical and non-technical business expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and processes that are cost effective and meet customer and synchrony requirements.
    • building relationships with customers and identifying strategic customer needs and aligning processes, systems and operations accordingly.
    • in managing multiple overlapping highly complex projects, prioritising competing interests across functions.
    • closely with Bid Manager and IT to standardise best practices in functionality, flow, UAT and reporting.
    • Providing input to the Ops VP's, SVP, and President on the RFQ (request for quotation) response, ensuring that the Operations team understands risks and issues in the tender, and develops strategies to help mitigate that risk.

    What you will bring

    • minimum of 15 years' + experience in Warehouse Operation in a logistics/manufacturing environment. Significant experience in supporting WMS Implementations, as well as Solution Design for Tech/Automotive greenfield sites or existing brownfield expansion sites.
    • degree: commercial experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
