This role is for a Finance Analyst in the Accounting & Finance department of a leading firm in the Technology & Telecoms industry based in Chertsey.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

The Key Responsibilities of the finance analyst:
Ensure fair and accurate accrual bookings in line with accounting standards.
Responsibility for the management of the balance sheet reconciliation and aging clearance.

Review all bookings post-promotion and calculate any P&L / BS impact for reported sell out and work with the Commercial and FP&A teams to ensure this is factored into the SD forecasts in a timely manner.

Manage the process of accounting for sales deductions and support the divisions.
Working with AR team to validate and process of customer claims received and management of account accruals
Support Commercial Finance Managers with data requests
Undertake project to review processes and implement automation of bookings process as appropriate for different product categories.
A successful Finance Analyst should have:
Exceptional attention to detail with data transposing.

Advanced excel skills (data handling, pivots, sumifs, charts etc).
Experience of working in technology or FMCG sectors;
Hands on experience of using ERP systems (preferably SAP).
