About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented administrative professional to join us as a Claims Processing Assistant.This role will focus on assisting members of Britannia P&I, The Wren Insurance Association and The Griffin Insurance Association with the payment and processing of claims.
The Claims Processing team is a friendly team of 7 in London reporting to the Head of Claims Processing.
The team oversee a variety of claims across all international offices and provides an opportunity to liaise with other departments including Underwriting, Claims, Finance and 3rd parties.
The role reports to the Head of Claims Processing.We have a hybrid working policy, however, the role holder will be required to work full-time in the office during the 4 first weeks of the induction period.
Review Member claims and raise corresponding credit notesRespond to Members and Correspondents queries by telephone and email
Develop a good understanding of processes and procedures, ensuring that we are adhering to our policies and SLAs
Conduct sanction checks and call-back procedures for new bank accounts
Assist with ad-hoc and quarterly reports
Ad hoc duties as required
A minimum of 2 years of administration, accounts handling, claims or data processing experience in a regulated environment is essential
Financial literacy and ability to demonstrate aptitude for working with numbers
Computer literate and familiar with all MS Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
