We are looking for a hardworking individual to join a local accountancy practice that has been established for over 25 years.

We are looking to enhance and build upon an already highly-skilled workforce to take our company further This is a fantastic opportunity to join the firm as a key addition to make a difference as you will be the heart of this company.

Combining administrative work with bookkeeping skills is the lifeline of this job role.

Our office is based in Ilford. You must be able to commute to ILFORD. Great transport links within a minute walk from the office.

Duties/Role/Responsibilities Business Admin:_


We are looking for someone that enjoys working as part of a small business, who can reliably commit and be flexible.


  • Report to Managing Director directly
  • Bookkeeping
  • The provision of excellent customer service by answering to customer queries and by being able to liaise with external internal and agencies to support our clients
  • Daily tasks/targets will be completed prior deadlines, under supervision and managing director to ensure smooth running of the business
  • Ensuring office equipment and supplies are kept up to date and ordered/reported to the Managing Director
  • Highly skilled in time management, organisation and IT
  • Willingness to contribute and work as part of a team
  • Confident in working independently and under supervision/direction
  • Ability to adapt to a fastchanging and fastpaced environment to maintain the calm and levelheadednesses needed.
  • Reliable
  • Uniform: Professional at all time (business wear)
  • There may be times where you are required to work from home as the business requires during times of business opening hours

Requirements:_

  • Must be proficient in the use of MS Office (2007 and onwards) especially in Excel and Word
  • Must be experienced in Admin (previously or currently working in an admin position)
  • Must be experience in Bookkeeping
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs grades A
  • C/94 (Maths and English Language and ICT required)
  • Good level of numeracy and literary skills: good verbal and written communication to ensure professional communication at all times
  • You must be available to commit to working Mon-Fri [9:30am 5:30pm] and be flexible to meet required deadlines during busy time periods
*PLEASE NOTE: This is an extremely varied role and you may be expected to complete other tasks which are relevant to this business and role. Takes may alter and develop, with the increased level of responsibility.

Desirable:_

Experience in working within a small business, customer service role, or finance sector

Qualification:
Bookkeeping Level 2, Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting will be hugely advantageous
