What you need to know about the role
We're looking for Electrical Team Members on shift within both manufacturing and workshop areas on the Immingham site.

You will be responsible for the assignment, coordination and/or completion of electrical engineering tasks within the High Level Support team.

This is a key role in a highly mechanised and automated area, which has had extensive investment over recent years.


As part of this role you will need to have a thorough grasp of health and safety principles and knowledge of all relevant statutory legislation.

Company instructions are of paramount importance in this position.

You will have expert knowledge of the hazards and safety procedures as applied to your area of responsibility and maintenance activities.

What we need to know about you


You must be qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in a relevant electrical trade or have served a recognised apprenticeship*We expect you to take an active role in the training and mentoring of British Steel Base Craft and other shift trainees to stimulate a safe and positive learning environment.

Communication is vital to the success of this role.

You will need to be a highly motivated team player and be able to work flexibly within a multi-disciplined team.

As part of this role you need the ability to lead, inspire and influence positive outcomes.

*Certificate evidence will be required
