- Installation of Allen-Bradley PLCs
- Electrical installation and commissioning of robotic capital equipment
- Reactive and planned maintenance as part of a dedicated manufacturing engineering team
- Both day and night shifts (12 hours) on a 4 on, 4 off shift rota
- A minimum of 2 years' experience specifically in manufacturing maintenance engineering
- A nationally recognised apprenticeship, HNC, HND or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical engineering
- The ability to fault find, configure, program and commission PLCs in an industrial setting
- A knowledge of manufacturing processes
- The desire to progress toward project management, process improvement or automation leadership in your career

Electrical Technician - Robotics and PLC Installations
Salary: Base of £48-52k. Shift allowance of ~£10k. Overtime opportunities available.
We are hiring on behalf of a nationally respected manufacturing company.
Due to immense revenue expansion and the unlocking of new funds, the business is investing in state-of-the-art robotic and high-speed conveyor lines to expand and automate their production. The business is searching for multiple electrical and controls technicians to support the installation and commissioning of new production lines. This is a long-term career opportunity in a positive and respectful engineering culture.
This role would be perfect for somebody with strong hands-on experience installing PLCs and robotics on a manufacturing line, as well as performing planned and reactive maintenance in a manufacturing setting on automated manufacturing lines.
