Job type:
FTC - 17 months Maternity Cover


Location:

London - This role can be performed with a hybrid working arrangement balancing working from home and the office.

It is expected that regular attendance in the office will be required in line with business, department and team needs.


Job Purpose


As an Education and Accreditation Executive, you will support the delivery of our education and qualification standards, including developing and maintaining relationships with universities and education providers globally.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring any RICS accredited programmes meet our education standards
  • Maintaining provider and programme information ensuring it is recorded accurately
  • Building and maintaining relationships with Education providers ensuring they have a positive experience of RICS accreditation processes
  • Independently organise and lead accreditation meetings with education providers
  • Calibrate/analyse education programmes for suitability/matching to RICS education and qualification standards
  • Support the development of quality audit and assurance frameworks to maintain the consistent standards of our education and qualification activities
  • Assist with policy and process development and guidance, documentation and process mapping
  • Organise meetings, write board papers, minutes, attend and present at meetings
  • Ensure accreditation data is recorded accurately and records are transferred and stored securely
  • Provide knowledge and technical advice internally and externally
  • Provide an educational research/best practise benchmarking capability to the team
  • Coordinate requests for data information from education providers, providing analysis and reports, including accredited programme data, assisting with consultation responses
  • Coordinate and administer education provider meetings

Experience / Skills Required

Essential

  • Demonstrable project management experience working to multiple deadlines
  • Ability to develop, build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders of varying levels
  • Experience of quality assurance, or working in either higher education/professional body context
  • Experience of presenting information and data in formats for a range of audiences, including policy and report writing skills
  • Ability to work with autonomy and limited supervision
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to think critically, analyse data, and present effectively
  • Good computer skills, including the use of MS Office packages
  • A proficient team worker with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Clear and concise communicator, in an engaging way that suits different audiences
  • Confidence to challenge when a situation is not working
  • Ability to prioritise work to ensure deadlines are met and adapts previous approaches differently for new/changing situations

Desirable

  • An understanding of education activities and its role in the professional qualification process
  • Experience or knowledge of the real estate and construction industry, its role and its impact in society and the economy
