We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our [school/educational institution/organization].

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with diverse learning needs.


Responsibilities:


Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in both academic and non-academic activities.

Assist the classroom teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapting learning materials.

Promote an inclusive learning environment by fostering positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.

Observe and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and participating in progress review meetings.

Support students with personal care and mobility, as required.

Assist in the implementation of behavior management strategies and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.

Collaborate with the teaching team to create and maintain a stimulating and accessible learning environment.

Encourage independence and build confidence in students with learning difficulties.

Accompany students on educational outings and trips, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay informed about best practices in special education.

Educational Background:
Minimum of [insert education level, e.g., high school diploma/associate's degree/bachelor's degree] in [relevant field].


Experience:
Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is preferred.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 21 per week


Salary:
Up to £14.50 per hour
