As a key member of our organization, you will participate in both cooperative and self-directed tasks, working alongside our close-knit finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage weekly tenant rent payments, address overdue accounts, reconcile balances, handle charges, process payments, and adjust as needed.
  • Create sales invoices weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually to meet The Roberts Centre's contract and service agreement terms.
  • Input purchase invoices into the Xero system, assigning them to the relevant departments and nominal codes as necessary
  • Secure the correct authorisation for all expenditures.
  • Responsibility for the monthly Bacs supplier payment run
  • Assist the Finance Manager with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including recording accruals, prepayments, and depreciation.
  • Support the Finance Manager with the bimonthly reporting to Trustees and the annual budgeting process.
  • Prepare monthly balance Sheet reconciliations and monthly cash flow reports
  • Hold a relevant finance/business studies/vocational qualification or have proven work experience
  • Experience dealing with petty cash, purchase ledger, bank reconciliation or sales ledgers
  • Experience using computerised accounting systems preferably Xero
  • A cando attitude with the ability to work individually or as part of a small team
